The new floor lamp, in its name and slender structure, recalls the dynamism of the "quaver" or "eighth," the musical note. Unlike the classic floor lamp, which typically opens at the top, Luca Nichetto has literally turned the lamp body upside down to create a revolutionary product. Immediate in function, elegant in the four available finishes, the power of Croma's light and dim-to-warm function make it suitable for a variety of environments.
The slender metal structure of Croma, which projects beams of light along the wall towards the ceiling, evokes the dynamism of the musical note from which it takes its name.
With an overall height of 186 cm, the floor lamp designed by Luca Nichetto rests on a conical base that gives it stability, while the slender silhouette of the stem almost seems to vanish in the beam of light emanating from the LED light source. A ring positioned halfway up the stem allows the user to turn the LED module on and off and manage the dim-to-warm function that extends from 2200 to 3200 kelvin.
Croma is available in four unique finishes. The new ombré metallic effects veer from green to black and from bronze to nickel. The gradient of these finishes recalls the way the light spreads on the wall as it develops upwards. The two matte shades, black and white, are embellished with a textured finish perfect for enhancing residential environments as well as retail spaces.
