Downtown Lounge Ottoman
Downtown Lounge Ottoman
Proof Living is an authorised dealer. Purchasing through parallel importers can void warranty, installation and after-sales support.
The Downtown Lounge pouf is the ideal complement to the similarly named armchair. Its reinforced structure and firm padding make it a solid and durable piece. The base of the pouf is available in either solid wood in various finishes or metal, with a four-spoke die-cast aluminum structure. In both versions, the Downtown Lounge pouf is available with either Pelle Frau® leather or fabric upholstery, in various colors.
With Downtown Lounge, Jean-Marie Massaud reinterprets the distinctive design of his namesake office collection to create a new, elegant, and sensual armchair. The Downtown Lounge armchair features a characteristic, slightly reclined position, promoting a natural and comfortable posture while providing full support up to the head. Its compact dimensions make it ideal for both residential spaces and lounge areas or waiting rooms. Seating comfort is further enhanced when paired with the Downtown Lounge pouf, offering a resting place for feet and total relaxation.

Meet The Designer
Ozwald Boateng X Poltrona Frau
know the brand
Poltrona Frau
Noted for their exhaustive quality standards, the company uses a 21-step leather tanning process (vs. industry standard ranging from 12-15 steps) where the full-grain leather is dyed through, so a surface scratch won’t reveal a lining underneath. 95% of Poltrona Frau’s products are made by hand.
The Pelle Frau® leather tanning processes are exclusively combined with chrome treatments, which guarantee greater chemical and biological stability, to preserve the softness and flexibility of the leathers. Selected and produced by the finest quality Italian tanneries, Pelle Frau® leather is only “admitted” to the production process after it has passed a series of tests in the Poltrona Frau laboratories: from sensory tests to evaluate its hand, touch, colour, appearance and choice, to physical and mechanical tests that guarantee its impermeability, breathability and resistance to rubbing and stains.
