The smart model

Mito terra – the design recedes completely into the background, placing the emphasis fully on quality of light and function: thanks to the optionally height-adjustable body, this floor luminaire can be adapted perfectly to the height of the table. Alongside the intuitive control functions characteristic of Occhio, Mito terra adapts individually to its users thanks to the »presence sensor« and »ambient light control«.

With Mito terra, the light can be controlled not only with gestures or Occhio air, but if desired also without any effort at all on your part: the »presence sensor« responds to your presence or absence and controls the light automatically and efficiently. Perfect lighting for every moment: »ambient light control« dynamically adjusts the light from Mito terra to the ambient brightness. So the lighting conditions are always perfect, regardless of the time of day or weather, for example.

Features

• touchless control: Magical moments without the slightest touch: with Occhio »touchless control«, you can control the lamp as if by magic. Simple gestures are all it takes to change the luminous intensity and even the colour temperature within seconds.
• up/down fading: The »up/down fading« feature allows the light to be smoothly shifted from one side to the other on luminaires with light emission on both sides. »up/down fading« can be controlled via the Occhio air app, the Occhio air controller and gesture control, turning interaction into an extraordinary experience.
• color tune: Thanks to the built-in »color tune« feature, you can choose the appropriate color temperature for every moment – from cool, stimulating light similar to daylight, to warmer color temperatures for a relaxed ambience. The ideal light for every mood, situation and time of day.
• Height adjustment: The optional height adjustment allows you to continuously change the suspension length between 50 cm and 200 cm. An ingenious roll-up mechanism ensures that the luminaire always remains horizontal at the desired height. The wire disappears into the canopy. With a simple and gentle pull of the hand on the head, the luminaire can be adjusted downwards - and just as easily, the luminaire can be pushed upwards again.
• Occhio air: It also allows you to create groups and scenes. Use light intuitively: with Occhio air, you can easily switch your Occhio luminaires on and off – or dim them, change the color temperature from cool to warm, and fade the light from up to down. These can then be stored, retrieved, and controlled holistically.
• body sensor: A gentle wave of the hand is all it takes to dim the light or adjust the colour of the light. This innovative feature allows for convenient operation whilst seated.
• presence sensor: With Mito terra and Mito terra 3d, lighting isn’t just controlled by gestures or Occhio air. The presence sensor detects when someone is present or absent and controls the lighting automatically – and efficiently.
• ambient light control: The perfect light for every moment: »ambient light control« dynamically adjusts the light to the ambient brightness, ensuring the ideal lighting conditions at all times and taking into account the time of day and weather.
• high color (CRI 95): The Color Rendering Index (CRI) indicates the color rendering quality. Lights with a high CRI ensure the best possible color rendering. It specifies the spectrum a light source produces that is visible to the human eye. Colors shine with the same nuanced depth as in nature. Skin tones appear natural.
• air sync: Thanks to Occhio air, luminaires can be synchronised wirelessly and controlled as a group. A simple gesture or the push of a button (Luna pura only) is all it takes to apply settings such as »color tune« to all luminaires in a defined group at the same time.
