Tacchini
Pigreco Chair
Pigreco Chair
Pigreco expresses itself in the essentiality of the line, the balance between solids and voids, and the harmony between straight lines and curves, defining every minute detail of this iconic seat.
Designed in 1959 as a degree project at the University of Venice, Pigreco is the first product designed by the Maestro Tobia Scarpa, an iconic chair that Tacchini is privileged to include among its re-editions. Every feature responds to a thought: to convey a "sense of space" to a traditionally static object. The triangle thus becomes a dynamic element, reinforced by the rear legs that come together to ensure stability to the seat without compromising the sense of lightness that pervades it.
