Cestlavie maintains the theme of weaving and basketry but transforms its materials to become Cestlavie Outdoor . Available in two sizes, it is an informal and versatile accessory that can serve as either a low table, small container or even an ice chest . Cestlavie Outdoor is made with woven ropes and materials specifically designed for outdoor environments, ensuring optimal weatherproofing. It has a powder-coated aluminum frame. The basket-containers can be enriched with two optionals : a lid on which to place objects and an ice chest to store and keep bottles cool. The lid is made of powder-coated aluminum and the tab in Pelle Frau® Outdoor leather to match the frame. The ice chest version is made of embossed thermoformed ABS. The weave is in rope, available in finishes matching the frame.

Meet The Designer
GamFratesi
Stine Gam, a Danish architect with a master's in furniture design and Enrico Fratesi is an Italian architect who graduated with a master's in industrial design. Gam and Fratesi gained experience as architects in architecture studios in Japan and Scandinavia before establishing their own design studio. Their studio is based in Copenhagen. GamFratesi’s design takes its creative drive from a fusion of tradition and renewal and an experimental approach to their chosen materials and techniques. With their dual traditional background, Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi draw on the classic Danish furniture and craft tradition as well as the classic Italian intellectual and conceptual approach. Understanding a tradition and addressing it actively in the workshop makes it possible to expand on it. From this cross-cultural substrate, they create furniture that respectfully reflects tradition while also featuring unique embedded stories, symbols and associations, often expressed in a minimalist idiom.
GamFratesi have received significant awards including Finn Juhl Prize 2015, Elle Decoration International design award (EDIDA) as International Young Designer of the Year 2013, Wallpaper* Design Award as Best interior 2017, Best Designer 2015 by BoBedre, Best Designer 2009 by RUM, Invited as Guest of Honor at the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2014. With their products GamFratesi received the final selection Compasso D’Oro, IF Award, German Design Awards and Good Design Awards.
