The Grant pouf collection includes three De Luxe poufs of various sizes. The models are characterized by a particular weaving technique, made with strips of Pelle Frau®, which decorates the perimeter structure of the poufs. The leather covering is available in Pelle Frau® SC ColorSphere® and Pelle Frau® Soul. Only for the Pouf ø46 De Luxe and Pouf 90x64 De Luxe models, there is also the option of covering that combines two types of leather: the first one, Pelle Frau® Motif Knits, applied to the vertical surface and the second one, Pelle Frau® Velvety, to the seat of the pouf. The structure of the poufs and seats is made of birch plywood. The perimeter padding of the seats and armrests is in expanded polyurethane. The Grant De Luxe pouf collection also includes, among others, a version with a practical container. This latter version has a birch plywood lid-seat and the container compartment is covered in black technical fabric. The opening mechanism is equipped with a system that locks the lid in position when open and cushions its closure.

Meet The Designer
Tristan Auer
Born in 1970 in Metz and raised in Aix-en-Provence, Auer graduated from the renowned Penninghen school of art direction and interior architecture in Paris. “My grandfather was a landscape designer, who lived in a beautiful 1920s mansion,” he reminisces. “Certainly that was the start of my sensitivity towards nice interiors and beautiful proportions. I was raised in Aix-en-Provence, which is a great place for inspiration, and when I had to decide what to study, I thought that working full time is better when you enjoy it.
He earned his stripes under Christian Liaigre and then Philippe Starck for whom he worked on numerous projects worldwide – from a hotel-club for the Trigano family (co-founders of Club Med) to his first large-scale international project: The Mercer Hotel in New York City.
After founding his own studio in 2002, Karl Lagerfeld contacted him directly for private residential commissions, the creation of a Chanel haute couture salon in Paris and the renovation of Coco Chanel’s historic apartment on Rue Cambon. He also crafted the interiors of the flagship boutique of French couture house Nina Ricci in Paris and silverware brand Puiforcat’s showroom on Avenue Matignon.

The Pelle Frau® leather tanning processes are exclusively combined with chrome treatments, which guarantee greater chemical and biological stability, to preserve the softness and flexibility of the leathers. Selected and produced by the finest quality Italian tanneries, Pelle Frau® leather is only “admitted” to the production process after it has passed a series of tests in the Poltrona Frau laboratories: from sensory tests to evaluate its hand, touch, colour, appearance and choice, to physical and mechanical tests that guarantee its impermeability, breathability and resistance to rubbing and stains.
