The Secret Garden Sunbed
The Secret Garden Sunbed
Proof Living is an authorised dealer. Purchasing through parallel importers can void warranty, installation and after-sales support.
An elegant sunbed to furnish the relaxation area of a garden, veranda, private terrace or in the outdoor grounds of spas and wellness centres, as well as by the pool or on a yacht deck, with the craftsmanship of Made in Italy design and the typical style of Mediterranean culture. The sunbed is made of solid teak wood with a natural finish and is characterised by converging geometric contours and the backrest, which can be reclined in three positions, with interwoven two-tone ecru and taupe webbing that supports the cushion. The padding is designed to allow water to drain away and dry quickly. The outdoor sunbed can easily be moved around thanks to the rear one-way wheels. A part of The Secret Garden, the outdoor furnishing collection designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, which completes the Poltrona Frau Boundless Living Outdoor Collections. The Secret Garden sunbed is 100% FSC certified.

Meet The Designer
Roberto Lazzeroni
Roberto Lazzeroni, born in Pisa, began his professional life with the study of art and architecture in Florence and the interests he developed during his training, in particular in the conceptual art and radical design movements. In the early 1980s, Lazzeroni made his professional debut with a series of important works in the field of “interior architecture” that immediately attracted attention and were published in Italian and foreign periodicals.
know the brand
Poltrona Frau
Noted for their exhaustive quality standards, the company uses a 21-step leather tanning process (vs. industry standard ranging from 12-15 steps) where the full-grain leather is dyed through, so a surface scratch won’t reveal a lining underneath. 95% of Poltrona Frau’s products are made by hand.
The Pelle Frau® leather tanning processes are exclusively combined with chrome treatments, which guarantee greater chemical and biological stability, to preserve the softness and flexibility of the leathers. Selected and produced by the finest quality Italian tanneries, Pelle Frau® leather is only “admitted” to the production process after it has passed a series of tests in the Poltrona Frau laboratories: from sensory tests to evaluate its hand, touch, colour, appearance and choice, to physical and mechanical tests that guarantee its impermeability, breathability and resistance to rubbing and stains.
